Do NBA players get more than money from jersey sales if theirs is more than popular?

I know the NBA has some sort of agreement where players get a percentage of acquirement, but say does Back-scratch get more the average player?

I don't think it's publicly available only pretty sure jersey sales is just a part of acquirement that goes into the salary cap.

No. The NBA owns the commercial naming rights of the players and it is assigned to NBA backdrop. The NBA licenses those rights to Nike when making jerseys and the revenue is considered Basketball game Related Income. This money goes into the calculation when establishing the salary cap.

No when y'all sign a contract that squad owns your name. And so all jersey sales, bobble heads, posters etc etc anything with your proper name on it goes directly to the team.. as well accounts for revenue when negotiating bacon cap ..

Players become approx 49-50% of the acquirement which after divided by the 30 teams is roughly the salary cap. Pop Superstars then become Max contracts which is a bigger % of the cap than less popular players.

I would hope at that place is a solution where the rich don't get richer. Apply that coin to increase the minimum D-league wage.

If I'chiliad not mistaken, this was an issue brought upward during the last CBA discussions and the union fought for a higher percentage, which in turn is part of what lead to the high spike in salary cap we saw years dorsum.

The fasten was due to the new TV deal I don't believe the player percentage inverse in the terminal negotiation (ii negotiations ago the player percent actually went down - used to be like 57% now its 49%-51%)
